An illustration for work colleague Simon Owen, hope you likey

This is my design for a competition I have entered based on Liverpool, Merseyside. I have always been inspired by the myth that the male Liverbird over looks the city of Liverpool and its people. Were, the female bird protects the Mersey, and watches out  for the seamen to return safely home.

I have been having a major re-vamp of my bedroom, and have noticed how much crap I hoard.

A twitter bird design of mine, along with Matthew Hall’s logo.

My mum decided our living room needed a re-vamp (after having our Georgia O’Keefe paintings up for 5 years or so), she  asked me to create something “abstracty”.
My first idea that came to mind, was to make a tie dye, marbley effect on to paper and work over it.
Lets put it this way…it was a lot better planned out in my head than in practice. After much trail and error, I let my imagination run riot and conjured up ‘Chaos’. Hope you like x

In April my aunties, cousins and I attended The Grand National, held in Aintree, Liverpool (2009).
We had an amazing (drunken) day!
